Do you dare to enter our kingdom of wizards?

The Legend

Welcome to Kohera. Kingdom of wizards. Data wizards, to be more precise. Who worship the Microsoft Data Platform and combine their unique crafts with state-of-the-art technology. Turning data into knowledge. Enabling professionals to make the best data-driven decisions. But we can’t do it alone. We need more wizards to put our spell on the infinite data universe. Could that be someone like you? Do you dare to enter our kingdom?

What kind of wizard are you?

Want to see what kind of wizard you are?

This is how it works. We describe 3 situations, each with 5 potential answers. All you have to do is rate these answers “1” to “5”. Your favourite answer, the one that sounds most like you, gets number 1. And so on …
Don’t give it too much thought. Follow your instinct, but be honest. And don’t let this tone of voice misguide you:
this is all serious business.

A colleague has a great idea for a new product feature for a client. He’d like you to help him work it out by the end of the week. He won’t make it on his own. But as it happens, you have to cope with a heavy workload too. Which of these reactions sounds most like you? Remember, the answer that sounds most like you, gets number 1, then number 2, ... and you have to pick each score exactly one time

  • Sure, I’ll help. Where do we start?

    • 1
    • 2
    • 3
    • 4
    • 5
  • OK. And are you sure this feature really is the best solution for the client?

  • Hm, not sure if it will work but only one way to find out, right?

  • Yes! And we could even consider adding that other idea I recently toyed with.

  • That sounds like a lot of pizza meetings. Great!

There’s a new technology in town, but it’s not really your field of expertise. It’s considered the next best thing and could potentially take data science to a whole new level. We need a volunteer to explore it. Which of these reactions sounds most like you?

  • Oops, not my cup of tea. But my neighbour is really awesome. The best guy for the job if you ask me.

    • 1
    • 2
    • 3
    • 4

  • Oops, not my cup of tea, yet. OK if I follow the person who will take up this challenge?

    • 1
    • 2
    • 3
    • 4
    • 5
  • Oops, not my cup of tea. But you know what? I’m sure I’ll figure it out.

A colleague is turning 40. Your team wants to organise a big party with a surprise act. Which of these reactions sounds most like you?

  • The last party I attended was a complete disaster. I can tell you what not to do.

    • 3

  • Let’s not just go for a classic formula. I read about this new thing...

  • Someone say party? Great! Let’s do some rehearsals too.

You are a
Wizard of TYPENAME

That means you are someone whoTYPEVALUE.
And that’s someone we can always use at Kohera.
Do you want to become the wizard you have always wanted to be?

Our values

You can’t milk a cow with
your hands in your pants

Our favourite. Why? Because we’re doers. No smooth talking or false promises. We keep our heads down and get things done.

Play where the
puck is going

Visionary? You could say that. We always think and act a few steps ahead. That’s how we make sure we’re exactly where the future will be.

Share your knowledge,
boost our power

Knowledge is power. But only if we share and ask each other for it. That’s how we’ve become and will remain Microsoft data platform leaders.

It’s okay not to know,
it’s not okay not to dare

You don’t know everything? Big deal. Everything changes anyway. Just dare to embrace the new and let go of the old.

Seriously, have fun

Don’t get us wrong: we’re serious about data and technology. It’s our passion. So why not enjoy it while we’re at it?

Dirk, Data wizard

“Average IT jobs? Not at Kohera. As a test I had to develop a Power BI-dashboard for Roland Garros. Integrating tables, importing data from Wikipedia, … A nice way to get introduced.”

Jan, Data wizard

“Once we started talking in my interview, it didn’t feel like I was being tested. This was just two men sharing their SQL server passion. That’s when I decided I wanted to work for Kohera.”
